Scarlett caught up to Prism outside the estate and tried talking to her but Prism kept her mouth shut. Dawn was about to catch up when Prism and she made eye contact, Prism stepped on a blue luminescent square and floated away.

"Prism!" Scarlett yelled as Prism floated away.

"What's going on?" Dawn asked Scarlett.

"I don't know but Prism is acting strange," Scarlett said. "I have to go after her,"

"I'm coming too," Dawn said as the two ran off after Prism. "What was Prism talking about back there?" Scarlett did reply to Dawn's question as she sighed. "Scarlett?"

"I have a vague sense of what she may be talking about but I don't wanna jump to conclusions yet," Scarlett explained. "Especially if she can move past all that,"

Scarlett abruptly stopped as they reached a large group of trees up ahead, she stood there looking at the trees.

"What's wrong?" Dawn asked, Scarlett didn't say anything. She looked almost in a daze. "Scarlett!"

"H-huh? What?" Scarlett said.

"Are you okay?"

"Yeah, come on let's go," Scarlett said as she walked briskly into the trees.

Dawn followed Scarlett into the trees, not long after venturing into the trees the girls came to a clearing. An easel stood in the middle of the clearing with someone sitting behind it as they painted.

"Nice of you to join us, Pheonix," the person behind the easel said.

"Where's Prism?" Scarlett asked. The person pointed to one of the branches above and Prism jumped down landing on her feet.

"I apologize in advance, Scarlett," Prism said in a low voice as the trees grew taller blocking out the sunlight from the clearing.

"Silas?!"

"That's right," Lana said standing up from the easel and putting down her brush.

"What is this?" Scarlett asked looking at Prism, who looked down at the grass and then made eye contact with Lana.

"It's obviously an intervention," Lana said. "you've clearly lost your mind to be friends with her," Lana said as she pointed to Dawn.

"I don't think you can call this an intervention," Prism said as Silas landed right beside her.

"Yeah, usually to get the person away from whatever they seem to be addicted to," Silas said.

"I understand Lana but why are you guys doing this?" Scarlett asked Silas and Prism.

"In all honestly, we wanted to hear what the Princess was going to say," Prism explained.

"We couldn't care less if you wanted to be friends with the Princess," Silas said as Prism nodded.

"The barrier is just so you'd keep your manifestation in check while Lana talks," Prism said as she tilted her head toward Lana.

"Anyway as I was saying, Scarlett, you can't help her," Lana said.

"Why not?"

"Because I was supposed to be Princess, I basically trained my entire life for it and she just appears and gets to Princess,"

"If we're talking like that then you weren't supposed to be Princess," Scarlett said.

"Yes I was," Lana said.

"No you weren't, Alessia asked Prism to be Princess long before she asked you," Scarlett said. Lana looked over at Prism who was pinching the bridge of her nose.

"Is that true?" Dawn asked.

"Unfortunately," Prism admitted. "I had no intention of becoming Princes or Queen so I turned her down," she explained.

"Cause it would be hard to be a pop star?" Scarlett asked.

"We both know how I feel about that and why I'm doing it, don't confuse yourself with me," Prism said coldly.

"You never told me that," Lana said as she stared at Prism.

"Why would that matter?" Prism asked raising an eyebrow. "You were going to be Princess just like you wanted so why worry about the details?"

"But I'm not Princess!" Lana yelled.

"Speaking of Princess, Prism you said something to Lucas earlier,"

"I didn't step foot in the estate," Prism said looking at Lana.

"It was a paint clone?" Scarlett asked and Silas nodded.

"Something was said about Lucas being involved with Queen Alessia's decision on the Princess,"

"Oh," Prism said. "Director had given me access to some belonging to a friend who had left to her after her passing. She could see the future but it would happen randomly and she would have no recollection of it. To cut a long story short, a few months before Alessia's passing Lucas told Alessia that Lana can't be Queen,"

"Why?" Dawn asked.

"She was originally in the running because she would be able to paint Tormetors a better future but Lucas is under the impression that-"

"I'll kill all the Tormentors," Lana finished Prism's sentence. "And for whatever reason she chose a bird over me!"

"That's why you hate me?" Dawn asked. "for something I had no control over?"

"That's what I said," Prism said. "We all thought that you had just swept in and taken it from Lana but with what I had found out it turns out you didn't have anything to do with it,"

"The way you were treated earlier by us was unfair," Silas said.

"And Silas and I apologize for it," Prism continued.

"But I don't," Lana said.

"Someone's a Bitter Betty," Prism said under her breath.

"It doesn't make sense, a manifestation as amazing as mine was thrown to the side all for some stupid shapeshifter? I don't understand, so why don't you spell it out for me, huh? Why would you be chosen? A non-tormentor who can turn into a bird?" Lana said as she walked closer to Scarlett and Dawn.

"I don't even know why I was chosen," Dawn said.

"That's the worse answer you could've given," Lana said as she sighed. She reached into her pocket and pulled out a pencil, quickly drawing bullets and launching them towards the two girls. Scarlett quickly ran in front of Dawn trying to shield her and closed her eyes.
